This is my RPM2013 Album.
What's that you ask?
The RPM Challenge is simple: Record an album in 28 days, just because you can. That's 10 songs or 35 minutes (I chose 10 songs) of original material recorded during the month of February.
See their website at

For this project I've decided on quickly conceived, quickly executed pieces that take no more than a day or three to complete from writing/ tracking to final mix.
The gear I'm using for the 2013 Challenge consists primarily of a Korg 1st gen kaossilator, Roland SPD-30 with kik pedal, snare pad, and some pintech cymbals, and a TC-Helicon Voicelive touch for vocal processing. Some acoustic shakers and tambourine as well. These are for the most part first takes, multi-tracked/played live (not sequenced) into a PC running a DAW and mixed/mastered using various third-party plug-ins.
I'm am not focusing much on precision for these songs and more on energy, spontaneity, and brevity in execution.
